Goal: Consolidate three separate mobile apps into one, creating a new, unified Prosper app that’s delightful to use for personal financing and investing.

Business problems identified with current state:

  • Little to no control of app experience; dependence on partner

  • Stifled product line scalability

  • Little to no data or insight into user behavior

User problems identified with current state (UXR, surveys, NPS, app reviews):

  • Redundant navigation; extremely basic

  • Confusing and unstable

  • Path to higher credit limit unclear

  • General app ratings very low

Starting at the foundation

Building from the ground-up, how might we achieve these goals:

  • Address current navigation pain points

  • Help users build their credit and earn credit line increases & reward them for it

  • Accommodate company-level priorities of reducing losses and increasing payments/autopay

  • Present as a unified Prosper brand
